As the world begins to open again, Converse is introducing new products to its CX series – best exemplified by next-level comfort benefits, ease of wear and a progressive design ethos to fuel movement
Brought back from the archive, its legacy is reimagined to deliver lightweight comfort and classic court style. The Weapon CX is a modern take on the ’86 on-court shoe, featuring the original Y-bar for foot stability, an inventive pairing of a CX foam midsole and sockliner and newly engineered outsole designed to help support stride.
With a 360-degree approach, CX enables both new expression and experience when solving for comfort, engineering new benefits and inspiring bold new forms. The toolkit is best defined by CX foam, which boosts impact absorption and maximizes long-lasting wear. All of this results in a novel way in which Converse footwear is made, looks and feels. Advances are seen in:
- Fit – delivering overfoot comfort and ease of wear through foams and materials like the brand’s stretch canvas – which adapts to the foot and enables easy on-off
