Fundraising has never been more crucial, or more fun, than with South Africa’s live digital music streaming festival, the DreamStream. With remarkable streaming quality and great production value, it has the weight of the events’ industry behind it and is back for three days from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 June 2020.

Packed with more artists, genres and dance floors, this upcoming instalment introduces a live auction each day comprising super exciting, high-value and sometimes quirky prizes.

Whether you tune in for a specific act, or party all day discovering new talent, you’ll love the variety of entertainment which ranges from much loved EDM, to house, amapiano and hip-hop. The full line-up wil be confirmed next week.

The introduction of the live auction gives viewers the chance to bid for some phenomenal experiences, which includes at home performances from some of your favourite artists Also, up for grabs are a weekend getaway to the value of R25,000, iconic sports memorabilia and much more. Tickets for the event are free and available through Howler but all participants are encouraged to donate.

Like the first festival, DreamStream V2 will offer viewers Zoom room experiences which include circus acts and fire dancers to add a different dynamic to enjoy. Tickets for the event are free and available through Howler but all participants are encouraged to donate.

All donations and proceeds will go towards the South African Fund 4 Entertainment (SAFE), a non-profit initiative established in April to raise relief funds for our country’s entertainment, events, and festival community. Through rigorous campaigning, SAFE has raised over R650,000 in two months and has provided essential support to various communities around South Africa.

Beneficiaries of the fund include the technicians, stage-riggers, cleaners, security guards, bar staff, ticketing staff and more, who are very often hired on a temporary/hourly basis and are now locked down with no income or food as a result of the Covid-19 restrictions.

Tickets are FREE and are available on Howler.
