Savanna Premium Cider is making its boldest cultural play yet with the Weekend of Marvels—a full-scale takeover of the Hollywoodbets Durban July weekend from Friday, 04 July to Sunday, 06 July 2025. This isn’t just a weekend getaway, it’s a crisp, dry celebration of fashion, comedy, and culture—served neat with a signature Savanna twist.
A Premium Weekend for Mzansi’s Marvels
More presence, less pretence—that’s the energy Savanna is bringing. The Weekend of Marvels is a curated experience across three standout moments designed to celebrate South Africa’s real treasures: the people.
Friday: The Savanna Pre-Race Affair
The weekend kicks off at the exclusive Savanna Manor, a luxurious coastal retreat where invited guests will experience the golden hour in true Savanna style. Expect fashion-forward flair, spontaneous comedy cameos, and of course, crisp cider served as it should be—neat.
Saturday: Comedy, Couture, and Chaise Lounging at the Track
At Greyville Racecourse, the brand dials things up with the Neat Speakeasy, hidden within the Chaise Lounge. This isn’t your average race-day hangout. Guests can expect curated comedy from Celeste Ntuli, cameos by The Givahs (featuring Mpho Popps, Moshe Ndiki, and Farieda Metsileng), and live commentary that keeps things sharply humorous.
Fashion also takes centre stage as Savanna debuts its “Marvels of Mzansi” fashion stunt, a collaboration with visionary local designer Nao Serati, who previously styled the one and only Chakalaka Norris. The collection will challenge race-day norms with witty, bold looks stitched with cultural satire and South African pride.
Sunday: Savanna Sunday Soirée
The weekend winds down back at the Savanna Manor with the Savanna Sunday Soirée—definitely not your average beach party. Guests will enjoy an effortlessly stylish, crisp cool-down to close out the weekend in fitting Savanna fashion.
