After a pair of sold-out debut shows in 2025, fabric London is set to kick off 2026 with a powerful return to South Africa. The iconic UK club institution will host two new shows—in Johannesburg on 9 January and Cape Town on 10 January—promising even bigger line-ups, elevated production, and a deeper cultural exchange with the country’s thriving electronic music scene.
A Strengthened Connection With South Africa
Building on its growing relationship with local audiences, fabric’s 2026 edition showcases an expanded vision: world-class selectors, inclusive dancefloor culture, and large-scale audiovisual design rooted in both global and South African club traditions.
This year’s headliners include Marcel Dettmann, Gerd Janson, and Gabrielle Kwarteng, with regional icons and global favourites joining them in each city.
South African house pioneer Vinny Da Vinci joins the Johannesburg line-up, while London’s beloved disco collective Horse Meat Disco will bring their infectious energy to Cape Town.

In Jo’burg, fabric teams up once again with techno tastemakers TOYTOY for a full three-floor takeover of AND Club and Carfax. The night will deliver a genre-spanning mix of techno, house, and underground electronics—spread across multiple rooms in one of the city’s most legendary club districts.

Cape Town — Saturday, 10 January 2026 @ The Castle of Good Hope with HE.SHE.THEY
Cape Town’s event promises to be unlike anything the city has seen. fabric will transform the Castle of Good Hope, South Africa’s oldest building, into a futuristic dancefloor using a touring projection-mapping installation that will illuminate the 17th-century walls and courtyards.
This marks the first major electronic music event of its kind at the historic site—merging heritage architecture with cutting-edge club culture.
