Wine lovers and collectors are in for an unforgettable evening as Caroline’s 2026 Red Wine Review returns to Cape Town on Thursday, 30 July 2026, bringing together the country’s most celebrated flagship red wines under one roof.

Widely regarded as one of South Africa‘s most prestigious wine tasting events, the annual showcase will take place from 17:00 to 21:00 in the Members’ Lounge on the 4th Floor of the DHL Stadium in Green Point.

Now celebrating its 38th year, the event is hosted by Caroline Rillema, founder of the renowned Caroline’s Fine Wine Cellar, and continues to attract wine enthusiasts, collectors, sommeliers, and industry professionals from across the country.

Taste 90 of South Africa’s Finest Red Wines

The 2026 edition will feature an impressive selection of 90 of South Africa’s most acclaimed red wines, with each participating producer showcasing just one exceptional flagship wine. This unique format allows visitors to sample only the very best expressions from some of the country’s leading wineries.
