Big Brother Mzansi S6 – Bazozwa: Week 7 Heats Up as Ashay Takes HoH and Nine Face Eviction

Week 7 of Big Brother Mzansi S6 – Bazozwa has kicked off with intensity, strategy and serious shake-ups. Following Sunday’s eviction, Biggie wasted no time turning up the pressure inside the house.

On 23 February, Ashay stepped into the spotlight, clinching the coveted Head of House (HoH) title after a tense final-round battle against Mmeli and Que. The win places him in a powerful yet precarious position — leadership in the Bazozwa house comes with influence, but also immense scrutiny.

In a dramatic twist, Biggie reintroduced the Untouchables Pick. Ashay selected The Don, granting him automatic immunity from this week’s nominations. While The Don can breathe easy for now, the rest of the house is anything but safe.

Face-to-Face Nominations Spark Tension

Just as the housemates began settling into the week, Biggie revived the fiery face-to-face nominations — and emotions ran high.

Here’s how the votes played out:

  • The Don nominated Que and Thandeka
  • Ilano nominated Thandeka and King Wanda
  • Liema nominated Que and Thandeka
  • Ashay nominated Que and Mmeli
  • King Wanda nominated Que and Mmeli
  • Didi nominated Thandeka and Mmeli
  • Trixie nominated Thandeka and Que
  • Que nominated King Wanda and Bravo B
  • Thandeka nominated Trixie and Didi
  • Bravo B nominated Que and Ilano
  • Mmeli nominated King Wanda and Liema

By the end of the dramatic session, Didi, Liema, Bravo B, Ilano, King Wanda, Mmeli, Que, Trixie and Thandeka found themselves on the chopping block. With nine housemates up for possible eviction, Sunday’s show promises another major shake-up.

Week 7 Theme: “Clock It” – Call-Outs & Clap Backs

If nominations weren’t intense enough, Biggie unveiled this week’s wager task themed “Clock It.”

The theme challenges housemates to reflect on their own behaviour, words and reputations in the house. It’s all about accountability and self-awareness — but in the Bazozwa house, that also means drama.

For their wager, housemates must create a short skit portraying a day in the life of a Big Brother housemate from their own perspective. Expect:

  • Anonymous call-out letters
  • Tribunals and confrontations
  • Confessions and clap backs
  • The Bazozwa Boombox exposing secretly recorded conversations

With tensions already simmering, this task could either unite the house or deepen existing cracks.

Can Ashay Handle the Pressure?

As HoH, all eyes are on Ashay. He must balance leadership, house dynamics and strategy while navigating a house where nine contestants are fighting for survival.

Will he rally the house toward another wager win? Or will the pressure of the crown and the weight of the “Clock It” theme cause fractures in the Bazozwa camp?

One thing is certain — Week 7 is shaping up to be one of the most explosive yet.
