MaBlerh to Host the First-Ever The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Africa Reunion
Showmax and Mzansi Magic have officially announced that media personality MaBlerh will host the first-ever reunion for The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Africa—an international first for the globally recognised reality franchise.
The highly anticipated two-part reunion will premiere on Showmax on 20 and 27 February 2026, followed by its Mzansi Magic broadcast on 21 and 28 February 2026. Since the Ultimate Girls Trip spin-off launched in 2021, this marks the first time a cast has reunited on screen to unpack the season’s drama, making the African edition a historic milestone.
Featuring nine of Africa’s most ambitious, glamorous and iconic women, the reunion promises unfiltered conversations, emotional confrontations and long-awaited accountability.
Africa Takes the Global Lead
Speaking about the significance of the moment, MaBlerh described the reunion as Africa stepping confidently onto the world stage.
“This season sets a new standard and proves that Africa can deliver premium, appointment-viewing television at the highest level.”
The season itself has been defined by raw emotion, real conflict and intense storytelling, with MaBlerh admitting he has been glued to the drama unfolding week after week.
No Topic Off the Table
Fans expect the reunion to address every headline-making moment—and MaBlerh is ready.
“Everything will be put on the table and everyone will be held accountable.”
Known for his experience in curating honest, high-stakes conversations, he emphasised impartiality as key to his hosting approach.
“There will be no favouritism, no special treatment and no protection from accountability.”
Uncomfortable moments are inevitable, he added—but necessary for truthful, compelling television.
A Bigger, Bolder Housewives Experience
According to MaBlerh, RHUGT: Africa stands apart from other instalments in the franchise.
The setting adds cultural depth, the cast brings layered history, and the conversations push further than viewers may expect, resulting in a season that feels both expansive and deeply personal.
Hosting such a landmark reunion is, in his words, a career-defining achievement—and one he is proud to experience on African soil.
Why You Should Watch
With months of online debate, speculation and shifting alliances, the reunion offers the final word.
It gives each woman the chance to tell her story directly, confront unresolved tension and close the chapter on one of the most talked-about seasons in the franchise’s history.
Episode 1 of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Africa reunion streams 20 February 2026 on Showmax, followed by Episode 2 on 27 February 2026.
