Level Up Your New Year Fitness Routine with Red Bull Zero Excuses

**LEVEL UP YOUR NEW YEAR FITNESS ROUTINE WITH RED BULL ZERO EXCUSES**

7 DAYS IN. 14 TO GO. ZERO EXCUSES TO STOP NOW.

Seven days down and the momentum is real. South Africans taking part in the Red Bull Zero Excuses Challenge have officially crossed the first milestone, proving that showing up is the hardest part — and they’ve already done it.

Built around the science-backed idea that consistency creates lasting change, the Red Bull Zero Excuses Challenge encourages participants to commit to one chosen activity for 21 days. From running and gym training to cycling, yoga, dance, or functional fitness, the challenge is not about intensity, but about consistency. Participants simply need to move at least four days a week and keep the routine going.

Running from 9 January to 6 February 2026, the free online challenge is designed to push participants past the point where motivation typically drops. With the first week complete, the focus now shifts to habit-building — staying accountable, maintaining momentum, and finishing strong.

The challenge lives on the Strava app, where participants can track workouts, log progress, unlock digital badges, and draw inspiration from Red Bull athletes and creators. Community support, shared goals, and surprise moments help keep motivation high when it matters most.

Participation is completely free, with no purchase required.

Inspired by Red Bull Zero, which delivers the same wiiings as Red Bull Energy Drink with zero sugar, zero calories, and a unique taste, the challenge reflects Red Bull’s commitment to active lifestyles and everyday performance. As South Africa’s fitness culture continues to thrive across gyms, outdoor spaces, and community-driven movement, Red Bull Zero Excuses aims to empower people to stay consistent and prioritise their wellbeing.

New year, new routine? There are officially zero excuses not to get started — or to stop now. Whether you’re already in or thinking of joining, the challenge is still open.

Seven days done. Fourteen to go.
If you’ve started, don’t stop now. If you haven’t yet, it’s not too late.

Join the Red Bull Zero Excuses Challenge on Strava and commit to the full 21 days.
There are zero excuses not to finish strong.
