fabric London Unveils Stellar Local Lineups for Johannesburg and Cape Town Shows
Global nightlife institution fabric London has officially revealed a world-class lineup of South Africa’s finest DJs and producers set to join international heavyweights Marcel Dettmann, Gerd Janson, and Gabrielle Kwarteng at its highly anticipated Johannesburg and Cape Town shows in January 2026.

Johannesburg: A Three-Floor Takeover of the Underground
The Johannesburg edition takes place on Friday, 9 January 2026, with fabric partnering with leading techno promoters TOYTOY for a full three-floor takeover of AND Club and Carfax.

South African house music icon Vinny Da Vinci joins the bill as a headliner, supported by a formidable local roster including Abby Nurock, Avi Subban, Black Lake, Bongani Zulu, Cornelius SA, Illing, Karmerr, Paulo Lundall, Sanetran, Sir LSG, and Transmicsoul.

The lineup promises a rich blend of deep house, techno, and soulful rhythms, capturing the raw pulse of Johannesburg’s underground and its long-standing influence on global dance culture.

Cape Town: Electronic Music Meets Living History
The Cape Town show follows on Saturday, 10 January 2026, transforming the iconic Castle of Good Hope into a multi-room electronic music experience. As South Africa’s oldest building, the 17th-century fortress will host its first-ever electronic music event, marking a historic moment for both the city and the scene.

Disco luminaries Horse Meat Disco headline alongside an eclectic mix of local innovators including Athie Umgido, Digital Sangoma, Irshaad S, Lady M, Leighton Moody, Miss CJ, Raresoftware, Resident DTK, Thamiache, Wata Mami, and YAMZ.

With immersive projection-mapped visuals washing across the castle walls, the night will deliver a bold fusion of house, disco, and experimental sounds—spotlighting Cape Town’s inclusive, forward-thinking dance community. HE.SHE.THEY. hosts Room 2, amplifying voices from across the local spectrum.
