SURPRISINGLY GOOD SERIES (JHB) – 23 Aug 2025
23 August 2025 @ 12:00 pm – 10:00 pm
This isn’t your usual party.
The Surprisingly Good Series is back in Johannesburg on 23 August 2025, bringing a pop-up groove that flips the script on what nightlife feels like. It’s all about taking over unexpected spaces and turning them into vibey playgrounds where real flavour, real connection, and real fun come together.
Picture this: one moment you’re hanging out with your crew, and the next you’re dancing in an unlikely spot with a cold Flying Fish in hand, soundtracked by music that actually slaps. No pretence, no pressure—just a surprisingly good time.
The Perfect Pairings
Flying Fish is once again serving up the ultimate mix of flavour and sound, pairing each sip with a lineup of artists who know how to keep the crowd moving:
- Dlala Thukzin – bringing signature amapiano-gqom fusion that’s pure fire
- Tristan Urwin – weaving deep grooves into the mix
- Que DJ – delivering high-energy hits and unstoppable rhythms
- Mpho.wav – soulful, smooth sounds to keep the vibe flowing
- Just Havo – genre-bending beats for the bold
- Chelsea Sloan – fresh energy with a unique spin
It’s the party you didn’t see coming, but the one you’ll be talking about long after.
So, pull up—or wish you had. The Surprisingly Good Series is proof that when flavour meets music, the night can only go one way: up.
