Curated by Caroline Rillema of the acclaimed Caroline’s Fine Wine Cellar, this iconic showcase promises an unforgettable evening of premium wine tasting.
Wine lovers, collectors, and industry professionals will be treated to an exclusive walk-around tasting of 100 flagship red wines, each handpicked by South Africa’s top producers. From Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz/Syrah to Pinotage, Merlot, Grenache, Cinsault, and a variety of Bordeaux-style, Rhône-style, and Cape blends, this event offers a rare chance to experience the best of the Cape’s red wine excellence—all under one roof.
What sets Caroline’s Red Wine Review apart is its focus on quality over quantity: each participating winery presents only one exceptional red wine, ensuring that every pour is a standout. Many of the winemakers themselves will be present, offering attendees the unique opportunity to engage directly with the people behind the bottles.
