Johannesburg is where the 2026 Corona Sunsets Summer Tour begins, bringing the spirit of golden hour, outdoor experiences and summer energy to The Fat Olive on 24 October.
The Johannesburg stop marks the opening chapter of Corona Sunsets’ biggest tour journey yet, with seven destinations planned across South Africa and Botswana.
Summer Starts in Joburg
For Johannesburg’s young, social crowd, the 24 October event offers an early taste of the summer season — with music positioned as the starting point for a broader outdoor experience.
The tour’s More Than Music concept invites guests to do more than simply watch performances. The experience brings together creativity, nature, connection and activities designed to encourage guests to participate.
Among these is the Eco Passport Journey, which guides attendees through different experiences around the venue.
Guests can create personalised Sunnycords, take part in an interactive drumming session and capture their own Living Is Calling moment at the Instagram station.
Those who complete the journey can also access a mixology experience, where they can create their own Corona drink or cocktail.
The First Stop of a Bigger Journey
The Fat Olive event is just the beginning.
Following Johannesburg, the tour moves to Pretoria on 21 November, Durban on 28 November and Johannesburg again on 5 December. It then crosses the border for its first-ever Botswana stop at Dimawe in Gaborone on 12 December.
The tour continues to Cape Town and Ballito before wrapping up on 19 December.
Artists for the tour are still to be announced, keeping another major part of the summer experience under wraps.
For Johannesburg, however, the countdown is already clear: 24 October is when the Corona Sunsets summer journey officially gets underway.
