After 13 weeks of weddings, honeymoons, arguments, emotional breakthroughs and some seriously difficult relationship decisions, Married at First Sight Mzansi Season 3 isn’t quite ready to say goodbye.
The experiment may have reached its final vows, but the questions left behind are still hanging in the air. Now, Lerato Mvelase steps in to host a two-part reunion that promises to bring the couples back into the same room — and back to the conversations they may not have finished.
The reunion airs on Sunday, 4 October at 18:00, exclusively on Mzansi Magic, with the second instalment following on Sunday, 11 October.
The Experiment Is Over. The Questions Aren’t.
The Season 3 finale left viewers with four very different relationship outcomes.

Prince and Esethu chose to recommit, with Prince getting down on one knee and proposing to Esethu again. She accepted, making them the only couple to leave the final recommitment ceremony choosing to continue their marriage.

For Hlulani and Nompumelelo, however, the final decision went the other way. Their relationship ended after a journey that repeatedly tested trust, honesty and their emotional connection.

Lesiba and Matshediso delivered one of the finale’s more unexpected moments. While Lesiba was prepared to recommit, Matshediso decided to walk away, explaining that their relationship had changed once they left the shared apartments and questioning whether their connection could survive outside the experiment.

Meanwhile, Obren and Laurinda had already called time on their marriage earlier in the season.
Now comes the part reality television rarely gets to explore in real time: what happened after the cameras stopped rolling?
Lerato Mvelase Takes the Hot Seat
With Lerato Mvelase leading the conversation, the reunion has an opportunity to move beyond the familiar reality-TV cycle of confrontation and reaction.

Months have passed since filming ended, meaning the couples have had time to process their experiences away from the pressure of the experiment.
That makes the reunion less about simply revisiting dramatic moments and more about understanding what those moments meant once everyone returned to everyday life.
The returning experts — Thabang Mashigo, Pastor Xolani Hlitana, Dr Mpume Zenda and Bakhe Dlamini — will also join the conversation for the final time this season.
What Happens When Real Life Begins?
At its core, Married at First Sight Mzansi has always been about more than whether two strangers can make a marriage work.

It puts questions around compatibility, communication, expectations and commitment under a very public microscope. The reunion creates space to examine those questions after the experiment’s artificial environment has disappeared.
For viewers who have followed the couples since their weddings, the biggest curiosity isn’t necessarily who stayed together. It’s whether the people involved now understand why their relationships succeeded, failed or changed.
And there is still more to come.
From Friday, 30 October at 20:00, Married at First Sight Uncut will go behind the scenes with unseen footage, previously unseen moments and additional drama from the couples’ journeys.
The marriages may have reached their final decisions, but for Married at First Sight Mzansi, the conversation clearly isn’t finished.
