Smirnoff ICE Fan Park Hosts Ultimate Final Showdown
After weeks of bringing South African sports fans together through world-class sporting action and live entertainment, the Smirnoff ICE Fan Park is preparing to close its successful run with one final celebration. On Sunday, 19 July 2026, fans will gather at Wakanda Village in Sandton to watch an exciting international football showdown between Spain and Argentina.
Since opening in June, the Fan Park has become one of Johannesburg’s top destinations for sports lovers, offering live screenings of football, rugby, tennis and motorsport while creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with music, food and unforgettable moments.
The Fan Park forms part of Smirnoff ICE’s “We Do We Nakanjani” campaign, a platform that celebrates authentic self-expression, meaningful connections and communities that bring culture to life. Throughout the campaign, thousands of fans have come together to enjoy the excitement of live sport in an inclusive and energetic environment.
The final event promises to deliver another unforgettable experience as supporters cheer on Spain and Argentina alongside fellow fans on the big screen.
Keeping the energy high before and after the match will be an exciting entertainment lineup featuring Slade, EeQue, Dench and Uncool MC.
Adding even more excitement is DJ Wamz, the winner of the Smirnoff ICE DJ Competition. The competition was launched to discover emerging South African DJ talent, giving one standout performer the opportunity to share the stage with established artists. DJ Wamz‘s performance highlights Smirnoff ICE‘s ongoing commitment to supporting local creatives and providing meaningful opportunities for rising talent.
Over the past several weeks, the Smirnoff ICE Fan Park has proven that sport has the power to unite people. Every match screening has been about more than the game itself, creating memorable experiences through entertainment, shared celebrations and community spirit.
