adidas Extends Real Madrid Deal Until 2034
adidas and Real Madrid Extend Historic Partnership Until 2034
adidas and Real Madrid C.F. have officially announced an eight-year extension of their iconic partnership, ensuring the German sportswear giant remains the club’s Official Kit Supplier through 2034.
The renewed agreement reinforces what is widely regarded as the most successful partnership in club football, continuing a relationship that has flourished for more than 35 years and delivered unparalleled success on the pitch.
Since first joining forces in 1980 and reuniting from the 1998/99 season, adidas has been at the heart of Real Madrid‘s modern golden era. During this period, the Spanish giants have lifted eight UEFA Champions League™ titles while wearing the famous Three Stripes, cementing their status as Europe’s most decorated football club.
More Than Just Match Kits
The renewed partnership extends beyond supplying match-day kits. adidas will continue designing high-performance apparel for all Real Madrid teams while creating lifestyle collections that allow supporters around the world to showcase their passion away from the stadium.
The agreement also covers:
- Real Madrid Men’s Team
- Real Madrid Women’s Team
- Real Madrid Academy
- Real Madrid Genuine Team
- Real Madrid Basketball Team
This comprehensive collaboration reflects adidas’ commitment to supporting every level of one of the world’s biggest sporting institutions.
A Legacy Worn by Football Legends
Over the decades, adidas has outfitted some of football’s greatest names in the iconic white shirt, including:
- Zinedine Zidane
- David Beckham
- Toni Kroos
- Jude Bellingham
The partnership has produced several unforgettable kits that remain fan favourites. Among the most iconic are the elegant 2001/02 Centenary Home Kit, forever associated with Zinedine Zidane‘s unforgettable Champions League-winning volley, and the 2011/12 gold-trimmed home jersey, worn during Real Madrid‘s record-breaking LaLiga campaign.
Most recently, adidas unveiled the club’s latest home jersey, featuring refined details inspired by the Real Madrid crest with striking deep green and bold pink accents.
A Landmark Agreement
Real Madrid President Florentino Pérez described the extension as a defining moment for both organisations.
“This agreement that we are signing today is the most important in the history of football. The strategic alliance between Real Madrid and adidas has helped us, over these three decades, to experience one of the most wonderful periods in our history. It has also enabled us to continue nurturing this universal feeling known as madridismo.”
adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden also celebrated the renewal, highlighting the unique bond between the global sportswear brand and the Spanish club.
“This is one of the longest and most successful partnerships in sport. Real Madrid is a very special club with an exceptional history. I am extremely proud that the Three Stripes will continue to be part of this extraordinary success story.”
He added that adidas will continue developing world-class performance products for the club while expanding lifestyle collections that allow millions of supporters worldwide to express their passion both inside stadiums and in everyday life.
Looking Ahead
With the agreement now secured through 2034, adidas and Real Madrid are set to continue writing football history together. As both brands pursue further domestic, European and global success, the partnership remains a benchmark for excellence, innovation and sporting achievement.
The extension ensures that one of football’s most recognisable jerseys will continue to feature the iconic Three Stripes for years to come, strengthening a legacy that has shaped generations of players and fans alike.
