CONVERSE LAUNCHES IN NAMIBIA
The much-loved rebellious sneaker, clothing and accessory brand; Converse, has soared its wings and landed in yet another beautiful country; Namibia.
Converse Namibia opened its doors at The Grove Mall of Namibia in Windhoek on May 13th 2022, following with a launch event that took place on June 2nd 2022. The brand launched their new store with a different look and feel, showcasing their newest collections, along with their popular classics, for all the fashion fanatics in Namibia to enjoy. The store offers a wide variety of inclusive clothing, sneakers and accessories for all – whether you’re a skateboarder, basketballer or just love to look iconic.
This Converse store is not just special because it is the very first one in Namibia, but it is the very first Converse store with the brand new and updated look and feel.
The entire store has flashes of the street look the brand loves and represents. The walls are made of an authentic durable concrete with Plywood accent material to add a humble, warm and natural feel to the cool concrete flooring and steel fixtures. The base of the concrete flooring is CMU blocks. The blocks provide a gritty urban texture, like poured concrete.
This updated store look and feel is a direct depiction of the brand narrative, and Namibia is the very first to experience it.
The Converse brand has garnered huge success all over the world for its cultural, sports, and sustainable fashion impacts, and now it’s time for the brand to take Namibia by storm.
