Composed by the star himself together with two of his band members, MattOnKeyz & T.T, “Qhawe” speaks about an African man who has a strong relationship with his mother. He appreciates her for never giving up on him as he faces the daily challenges of life.

The song is written in third person and this was a brilliant way for Jst Sako to depict his journey of growing up in the far East side as a black, adolescent male in a township environment with little to no positive influences around.

The intent of this sonically passionate piece is to appreciate and give all mothers out there their flowers while they can still smell them.
