Book Now for Stellenbosch’s Open-Air Wine & Food Street Soirées
The very best season to experience Stellenbosch has arrived, and with it comes the much-loved Stellenbosch Street Soirées — a series of open-air celebrations dedicated to wine, food, and good vibes. Organised by the Stellenbosch Wine Routes, these iconic soirées offer a taste of the winelands lifestyle in an informal, festive atmosphere complete with fine wine, street food, and live music.
Kicking off on October 29, the Street Soirées will take place once or twice a month until March 25, 2026. Each two-hour gathering transforms Drostdy Street into a lively pedestrian haven lined with giant oaks, where locals and visitors alike can sip, savour, and sway beneath the stars.

Home to some of South Africa’s most celebrated wineries, chefs, and restaurants, Stellenbosch is synonymous with The Good Life. Its outdoor cafés, wine bars, and estate eateries come alive during the warmer months — the perfect backdrop for these ever-popular soirées.
Each event features a diverse lineup of wine producers, street food vendors, and musicians, creating an atmosphere that captures the essence of the winelands at dusk. For just R250 per person, guests receive a branded glass and 10 wine tasting tokens, with street food available for purchase.
