Award-winning singer-songwriter Bongeziwe Mabandla, in collaboration with his team at Black Major, has officially announced the Solo Tour, set to begin on 16 October 2025 in Durban. The nationwide series offers fans an exclusive opportunity to experience his music in a deeply personal way, with intimate performances across multiple South African cities.

The Solo Tour has already resonated with audiences, with many shows selling out in advance. Known as the “enigmatic spirit of African soul,” Bongeziwe continues to draw listeners into his world of reflective storytelling, heartfelt lyricism, and timeless soundscapes. This tour follows the success of his amaXesha South African tour and several sold-out European performances, marking a return home to connect more closely with fans.

A Celebration of Connection and New Music

Each performance on the Solo Tour will be an evening of storytelling, stripped-back arrangements, and intimate sharing. Fans can look forward to beloved tracks from Umlilo, Mangaliso, iiMini, and amaXesha, reimagined in fresh, minimal forms. Beyond the classics, Bongeziwe will also preview brand-new music, giving audiences a glimpse of his next creative chapter.

Reflecting on the upcoming shows, Bongeziwe shared:

“This tour is my way of slowing down, listening deeply, and meeting my people. I’ve spent years traveling, performing at many venues, and now I want to walk into rooms with fans, share new music, hear from you – and feel the spirit of our connection. I can’t wait to see you all across South Africa.”
