The uncertainty surrounding Kanye West’s (Ye) highly anticipated return to South Africa has finally been cleared. Over the weekend, Ye announced that he will be performing live on Saturday, 13 December 2025, at Ellis Park Stadium in Johannesburg.
Tickets will go on sale to the public this Friday, 26 September, while pre-registrations are already open and will close today, 24 September, at 3 PM.
Ye broke the internet with the announcement on Twitter, sharing the official concert poster that quickly went viral among fans worldwide. This Johannesburg performance is expected to be one of the most talked-about concerts of the year, bringing Ye’s global influence and groundbreaking artistry to the African stage.
This won’t be Ye’s first time performing in South Africa. Back in 2013, he headlined the Castle Lite Feel the Beat of the Sub-Zero concert at The Dome in Johannesburg — a performance still remembered by fans more than a decade later.
With tickets set to drop this Friday, excitement is reaching fever pitch. Fans are urged to secure their seats early, as demand for Ye’s first South African show in over 10 years is expected to be massive.
