Outside Already Heads to Pretoria for a National Cultural Celebration

One of South Africa‘s fastest-rising cultural platforms, Outside Already, is set to bring a major national cultural event to Pretoria on 8 August 2026. Taking place at 012 Central, 387 Helen Joseph Street, Pretoria Central, the event promises a curated day of live music, cultural conversations and community collaboration that celebrates creativity, identity and influence.

Positioned on the eve of National Women’s Day, the event aims to create a powerful two-day cultural moment that celebrates visibility, expression and the people shaping South Africa‘s future.

The event will also feature keynote speaker Tlangi Michelle, MMC for Roads and Transport in the City of Tshwane, who will join the platform’s leadership discussions.

A special focus will be placed on women’s empowerment through a women-led leadership conversation and a spotlight stage dedicated to emerging female artists, ensuring the celebration delivers both inspiration and meaningful opportunities.

The event is being developed in collaboration with the City of Tshwane and supported by the Tshwane Metropolitan Police Department, reinforcing its commitment to providing a safe and well-structured experience.

Built on Cultural Momentum

Outside Already began as a carefully curated cultural experiment and officially launched with an exclusive private dinner at Marble Restaurant. The intimate gathering brought together influential voices from culture, business and leadership, including Lichi Pan, Sinqobile Tusani, Ndaba Mandela, Olwethu Leshabane, Kelebogile Mabunda, Count Lupa, Malume Jade, Muriel Mamoepa and Froo Saana.
