Pretoria’s heartbeat is back — and it’s bigger than ever. On Saturday, 4 October 2025, Market@theSheds launches A New Wave, a vibrant celebration of music, food, fashion, art, and community spirit at 012central, Pretoria. From 11:00 to midnight, expect a jam-packed programme that brings together the best of local talent and creativity, reminding us all why The City Lives Here.
🎶 Live Performances Across Two Stages
The day is stacked with music for every taste. Highlights include:
- Imor & The Guys → Funk, soul & jazz fusion
- Sivhara → Afro-soul sounds
- Smoke J Lawrence → Smooth R&B vibes
- Just 6 → A cappella brilliance
- Magatsela & Band → Township jazz flavour
- Mandla Ntlaks → Afro-pop & gospel upliftment
- CrossRoads → Rock blended with African rhythms
- Zainer Dreamer → Dreamy Afro-pop tones
- Sasha Taylor → Indie-pop grooves
- Daniel Cunningham → Acoustic soul storytelling
And from 19:00 until midnight, the festival closes with After Dark vibes led by Gbedu Nights & Afrikan Roots, dropping high-energy Afrobeats, Afro-pop, Kuduro, Ndombolo, Kizomba, Bongo and Afro-house. (Strictly 18+).
🥁 Interactive Drumming at 12h00
Kickstart your day with a hands-on interactive drumming session at noon. Limited to 30 spots, this unique experience is included in your ticket — but you’ll need to book online to secure your place.
