Wine lovers are invited to experience an evening of exceptional flavour and discovery as wineconcepts.co.za hosts its highly anticipated 6th annual Grape Escape Wine Festival on Thursday, 11 June 2026 at the iconic Moyo Restaurant.
Set against the scenic backdrop of Kirstenbosch in Cape Town, the festival will run from 18:00 to 21:00 and promises an exclusive tasting experience showcasing rare and exciting wine varieties from 40 of South Africa’s leading wine producers.
Following the success of previous editions, this year’s festival continues its tradition of celebrating unique varietals and blends that go beyond the ordinary. Guests can expect to sample an impressive selection including Cinsault, Viura, Mourvèdre, Verdelho, Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Barbera, Chenin Blanc, and Chenin-driven blends. Rhône-inspired favourites such as Viognier, Roussanne, Syrah, and Grenache will also feature prominently throughout the evening.
The event is designed for both seasoned wine enthusiasts and newcomers eager to expand their palate. In addition to unlimited tastings, attendees will enjoy a selection of delicious snacks carefully paired to complement the wines on offer.
All wines showcased during the festival will be available for purchase at special discounted prices exclusively through Wine Concepts on the night, giving guests the perfect opportunity to stock up on their favourite discoveries.
