Math Restaurant continues to shape Johannesburg’s wine and culinary landscape with its next MATH Wine Club experience—an evening dedicated to the excellence and craftsmanship of Aslina Wines. Taking place on Wednesday, 20 November 2025 at Waterfall Corner, this edition brings together a thoughtfully curated four-course tasting menu and the bold, expressive wines of one of South Africa’s most admired premium wine houses.
Founded in 2016 by celebrated winemaker Ntsiki Biyela, Aslina Wines is named in honour of her grandmother, Aslina—a woman whose resilience, wisdom, and strength inspired Ntsiki’s own journey. Ntsiki’s pioneering spirit has earned international acclaim. She was crowned Woman Winemaker of the Year in 2009, twice named a finalist for The Most Influential Women in Business and Government, and recognised among the Top 10 Most Innovative Women in Food and Drink by Fortune’s Food & Wine in 2017. Today, Aslina Wines stands as a global symbol of African heritage, craftsmanship, and world-class winemaking.
The November MATH Wine Club evening gives guests the rare opportunity to explore these remarkable wines in an intimate setting. Each wine will be paired with a dish crafted by Chef Ean, designed to elevate and highlight the structure, depth, and elegance of Aslina’s varietals. Guests are invited to arrive from 18:00, with the experience beginning promptly at 18:30. Reservations are open for singles, couples, or group tables—perfect for friends, family, or colleagues looking to enjoy an elevated night out.

Created to make wine culture feel both refined and accessible, the MATH Wine Club brings people together through shared experiences, conversation, and discovery. Each wine and course pairing is presented with context—its origin, its inspiration, and the craftsmanship behind the bottle.
