SUMMARY:SWV Joins Pretoria’s Ultimate R&B Experience
DESCRIPTION:Pretoria is getting an even bigger dose of nostalgia this October\, as legendary R&B trio SWV joins Brian McKnight and All-4-One for the Saturday\, 31 October edition of the Ultimate R&B Experience at SunBet Arena. \n\n\n\nThe announcement comes after the Cape Town leg officially sold out and more than 17\,000 tickets have already been sold nationwide\, signalling a strong appetite for live R&B in South Africa. \n\n\n\nFor fans who grew up with the genre’s defining voices\, this isn’t simply another concert. It is an opportunity to experience the soundtrack of different generations in one room. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFrom Cape Town Sell-Out to Pretoria Expansion \n\n\n\nRemoakantse Holdings has responded to the demand by adding SWV to the Pretoria line-up\, turning an already nostalgic weekend into an even bigger celebration of classic R&B. \n\n\n\nThe trio\, best known for timeless tracks including Weak\, Right Here and Rain\, will share the stage with Brian McKnight and All-4-One on 31 October. \n\n\n\nThe move also highlights something happening across South Africa‘s live entertainment landscape: audiences are willing to show up for established artists when the experience connects with memories\, culture and music that has remained relevant decades later. \n\n\n\nAccording to Remoakantse Holdings managing director Thabiso “Skeelo” Mogasha\, the decision followed fans asking for more after the strong response to the tour. \n\n\n\nThree R&B Heavyweights\, One Pretoria Weekend \n\n\n\nThe Ultimate R&B Experience now offers Pretoria audiences a particularly strong combination of voices. \n\n\n\nBrian McKnight brings his celebrated catalogue and signature vocal style\, while All-4-One represent another era of R&B and soul-pop classics. Adding SWV brings a powerful female presence and another layer of 1990s R&B nostalgia to the line-up. \n\n\n\nFor younger listeners discovering these artists through playlists\, TikTok clips\, samples and conversations with older generations\, the show could also become a bridge between eras. \n\n\n\nIt is the kind of concert where parents\, older siblings and younger music fans can potentially find common ground through songs that have travelled across generations. \n\n\n\nPretoria Gets the Big Weekend \n\n\n\nThe updated schedule puts Pretoria firmly in the spotlight. \n\n\n\nCape Town: 28 October 2026 – SOLD OUTPretoria: 30 October 2026 – SunBet ArenaPretoria: 31 October 2026 – SunBet Arena\, featuring Brian McKnight\, SWV and All-4-One \n\n\n\nTickets are available exclusively through Webtickets and Pick n Pay outlets nationwide. \n\n\n\nWith the Cape Town date already sold out and ticket sales surpassing 17\,000 nationally\, the Pretoria shows are shaping up as a major fixture on South Africa‘s October gig calendar. \n\n\n\nFor R&B lovers\, the message is simple: Pretoria just got another reason to turn up.
