Global sportswear giant PUMA has partnered with acclaimed designer Salehe Bembury to introduce the new PUMA x SALEHE BEMBURY TRVL WEAR collection, a bold fusion of football culture, performance innovation, and contemporary streetwear.
The collection marks the second chapter of PUMA’s football campaign ahead of this summer’s biggest international football tournament. Following the launch of 11 national federation kits in March, the new collaboration focuses on travel wear and goalkeeper kits designed specifically for the athletes representing PUMA-sponsored nations on the global stage.
Football Heritage Meets Modern Design
Bembury has reimagined classic football-inspired silhouettes through his distinctive creative lens, blending organic textures with modern performance functionality. The collection features revamped versions of the iconic KING tracksuit alongside jerseys, T-shirts, shorts, and accessories designed to accompany players throughout their tournament journey.

At the heart of the footwear offering is the Velum 1 Akita, a performance-driven sneaker featuring PUMA’s NITROFOAM™ cushioning technology. The shoe also boasts a UV-reactive finish that changes colour when exposed to sunlight, reflecting the dynamic environments athletes encounter while travelling and competing around the world.
Celebrating National Identity
Unlike traditional team apparel collections, the TRVL WEAR range embraces a bespoke design approach for each federation. Bembury drew inspiration from geographical landscapes, cultural heritage, architecture, and natural ecosystems unique to each nation.
This personalised design philosophy extends to the goalkeeper kits, ensuring every federation has a distinct visual identity both on and off the pitch.
“Football has always been about more than the game: it’s identity, culture, the way people carry where they’re from. With Salehe’s unique perspective on nature and culture, we’ve created a collection that is as functional for our athletes as it is expressive for the fans.”
said Dominique Gathier, PUMA Vice President of Teamsport
Bembury echoed this sentiment, explaining that the collection aims to honour the legacy of the KING franchise while expanding its relevance beyond football.
“With TRVL WEAR, we pull from the natural identities of each federation and translate them into something that lives both on the pitch and beyond it,”.

A Major Summer for PUMA Football
The launch forms part of a broader football strategy for PUMA leading into the summer tournament. Earlier this year, the brand unveiled federation kits for Portugal, Morocco, Ghana, Paraguay, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Czech Republic, Switzerland, New Zealand, Austria, and Egypt.
By outfitting 11 competing nations, including several of Africa’s most prominent football teams, PUMA continues to strengthen its position as one of the leading brands in international football.
The TRVL WEAR collection represents the second phase of PUMA’s summer football rollout, with a third chapter set to introduce new footwear innovations, including the highly anticipated ULTRA 7 football boot.
