Bongeziwe Mabandla’s Solo Tour Continues to Captivate Across South Africa and a Return to Cape Town on the Horizon

Award-winning singer-songwriter Bongeziwe Mabandla continues to enchant audiences nationwide with his Solo Tour, presented in collaboration with Black Major. The deeply personal and stripped-back tour has seen overwhelming support, with multiple shows across the country selling out and fans celebrating the raw beauty of Bongeziwe’s soulful performances.

For those who missed out on tickets, fans will have another opportunity to experience Bongeziwe live when he returns to Cape Town for the Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts on 14 December 2025, where he’ll co-headline what promises to be a breathtaking night of music and nature intertwined.

Since launching on 16 October in Durban, the Solo Tour has taken Bongeziwe to Gqeberha, East London, Makhanda, Pretoria, and Johannesburg, with every performance reaffirming his connection to audiences who have followed his evolving musical journey. The tour offers a rare chance to witness Bongeziwe in an intimate setting, where every lyric and emotion resonates deeply.

With just a few shows left before the tour concludes in London on 19 November at Fabric — a special fundraiser for the Bridges For Music Academy — the Solo Tour stands as one of Bongeziwe’s most heartfelt and successful series to date.

“This tour has been such a beautiful reminder of why I make music — the energy, the closeness, the connection. It’s been incredible sharing new music in such intimate spaces, and I’m so grateful to everyone who’s come out and filled these rooms with warmth.”
