DJ Tomer and Ricardo have been a force in the Afro house scene since joining forces in 2019, amassing over 6.5 million streams and more than 50 releases. With support from icons like Black Coffee and previous singles on Connected in 2022 and 2023, their journey has been nothing short of impressive, further highlighted by their debut album Echos.

This time, they collaborate with Durban-born global Afro house ambassador Shoba, who has worked with heavyweights like Timmy Regisford and Culoe de Song, while also delivering standout hits such as Wena with Djeff and Not the Same alongside Nighfreak and Imad, which even received a remix from Black Coffee. As a DJ, Shoba has graced stages from Madison Square Garden to Hï Ibiza, performing alongside some of the industry’s biggest names.

Their latest track, “Nhliziyo Yami” (meaning my heart in Zulu), is a spiritual and emotive Afro house journey. Laced with glowing chords, soulful and smoky vocals, and ascending synths that feel like whispered prayers under a starlit sky, the track captures intimacy and depth in a way that resonates far beyond the dancefloor.

This release stands as a testament to the trio’s artistry, blending tender emotion with hypnotic Afro house energy, making Nhliziyo Yami a track to remember.
