After a jaw-dropping reunion episode, The Real Housewives of Durban has officially dethroned The Mommy Club as the most streamed reality series on Showmax in 2024. The Season 5 finale delivered unforgettable drama, including the fiery clash between Londie London and Minnie Ntuli, leaving fans buzzing across social media.

Adding to the show’s success, The Real Housewives of Durban is up for three major categories at this weekend’s Simon Mabhunu Sabela KZN Film and Television Awards:

As Glamour put it,

In a recent catch-up Londie London shared her reflections on the reunion, her relationship with the other women, and what the season taught her.

“Returning to the show was such a fulfilling experience. There were challenges, but I’m genuinely grateful for the journey.”

says Londie

On reliving her heated fallout with Minnie Ntuli, Londie said,

“It was surreal, but I was proud of how I handled myself. I always carry myself with intention: I’m a mother, a daughter, and a businesswoman.”

Regarding Minnie’s apology attempt, Londie didn’t hold back:

“She reached out via text, but that’s different from the public statement she made. I was humiliated in public. A proper public apology would be more meaningful.”

Despite the drama, Londie says the season reminded her of her inner strength.

“I’ve realised how resilient I truly am. I won’t be easily shaken by outside noise.”

As for returning full-time?

“Absolutely. There’s genuine history and love with some of the women. I’d be open to continuing that journey.”

And to her fans, Londie is all heart:

“The support has been overwhelming. I’m so grateful to everyone who’s stood by me. I’ve never experienced this kind of warmth before.”

In 2024, The Real Housewives of Durban and The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip – South Africa were among Showmax’s Top 10 Most-Streamed Titles.
