South African rapper and singer Faith K returns with her boldest project yet – Hosikati, a 5-track EP rooted in Tsonga pride and musical versatility. The title Hosikati, which means “Queen” in Tsonga, embodies themes of strength, dignity, and sovereign power. It’s a sonic statement of a woman stepping unapologetically into her royalty.
Opening with “Loko Ni Fika (Arrival)” featuring rising star Sauwcy and produced by King Jillz, the EP sets the tone with authority and attitude. “Ndzilo” (fire), featuring Tommy Flo, keeps the energy burning with razor-sharp bars and punchy production by Smurrf1way.
Faith K takes the spotlight solo on the gritty “Woah”, delivering bars with raw authenticity. She switches gears on “Outside”, a smoother Afrobeat-inspired track produced by KLY that shows off her melodic side. Closing track “L.O.T.P (Hanky Dory)” blends R&B cool with slick confidence, wrapping up the EP with regal poise.
With Hosikati, Faith K isn’t just releasing music — she’s making a statement. It’s a fearless, genre-blending project that redefines what it means to be a queen in hip hop today.
