Sorisha Naidoo on Making History, Growth, and Holding It Down as RHOD’s Last Standing OG
The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) has delivered five seasons of glamour, drama, and unforgettable reality TV moments. But this year marks a milestone no one can ignore: Sorisha Naidoo has officially broken the record for the most reunion appearances in RHOD history, becoming the only cast member to attend every single reunion since the franchise launched in 2021.

With her fifth consecutive reunion locked in, Sorisha not only stands as the longest-running Durban Housewife but now also holds the solo record for most consecutive reunion appearances across any Real Housewives franchise in Africa. This feat, however, is bittersweet for the star, who’s missing her fellow OG, Nonku Williams, after her unexpected absence from the Season 5 reunion.
“It’s a bittersweet moment. I want to throw it in her face that I’ve made all five, but she’s not here for me to do that! We’ve been together from the very beginning, and I feel like she needed to be here for this one.”
Sorisha reflects
An Evolving Journey
As one of the original cast members, Sorisha has had a front-row seat to the show’s evolution—and her own.
“The show has taken so many twists and turns. I’ve seen so many different sides of myself—some I’m proud of, and others I had to work through.”

That self-awareness has been a defining trait for Sorisha, who openly acknowledges moments where she didn’t like the version of herself that played out on screen.
“There was a time when I was very isolated and quite cliquey. I didn’t like how I boxed myself in. I had to take accountability for that. I’ve grown a lot since then.”
she admits
What Keeps Her Anchored
Often praised as the “anchor” of the show, Sorisha says the heart of RHOD lies in the women who step onto the stage with purpose and authenticity.
“I’d love to see women who come in with a positive mindset. Ladies who are hungry to do more and show different dimensions of themselves. This season had some great women, but I wish we had more wholesome, joyful moments together.”

If Sorisha Did Run the Show…
Fans have long joked on social media that Sorisha “runs the show” behind the scenes. While she laughs it off, she indulges the fantasy for just a moment.
“If I did run things? I’d say chop Minnie. I just don’t think she was the best fit for this group at this time. That’s just me being honest.”
On the flip side, she has a clear vision of who she’d bring back.
“Definitely Londie—full-time. And my girls Annie and Slee. Those are my top picks.”
Why Season 5’s Reunion Is Unmissable
Despite the absence of Nonku, Sorisha says the Season 5 reunion episodes—airing Fridays, 4 and 11 July 2025—will still deliver drama, reflection, and revelation.
“The dynamics shift when one of the OGs isn’t there, and people will feel that. But there’s still so much to unpack. Things will come to light that make previous episodes make a lot more sense.”
With her blend of grace, honesty, and unfiltered insight, Sorisha Naidoo continues to be the beating heart of The Real Housewives of Durban. Five reunions deep, and still holding it down—she’s more than just an OG; she’s the legacy.
