Zakente returns with Paz, Alegria, a vibrant two-track release that captures the soul of Afro House while pushing the genre into new sonic territories. Released via the pioneering UK-based label DM.Recordings, the project features the original version alongside an instrumental, both crafted to inspire joy and peace—true to the title’s meaning in Portuguese.
Built on dynamic African percussion, melodic synths, and deep resonant basslines, Paz, Alegria fuses tradition with innovation. It’s a powerful addition to Zakente’s growing discography and a shining example of the global evolution of African electronic music.
