Rosette Ncwana Joins The Mommy Club Season 3: Motherhood, Drama, and Realness

In just two days, the highly anticipated third season of The Mommy Club will debut on Showmax, with a new episode every Saturday. The latest season introduces newcomers Mrs J, Noksie, Pheladi, and Vuyi, joining returning stars Hermajesty, Mrs Sande, and friends Mrs Mops, Nozipho Ntshangase, and Rosette Ncwana.

Since its debut, The Mommy Club has been a fan-favorite Showmax Original, offering a glimpse into the lives of glamorous, high-powered mothers balancing family, business, and social circles. The franchise has since expanded with The Mommy Club: Sugar & Spice and now The Mommy Club: Van Die Hoofstad, premiering on 14 March.

Ahead of the new season, we caught up with supermodel and entrepreneur Rosette Ncwana, a South African fashion icon who has spent 21 years in the industry. Having graced the covers of top magazines like Elle and True Love, and fronted campaigns for brands such as Ponds, Rosette opens up about why she joined The Mommy Club, her take on motherhood, and what fans can expect from Season 3.

What drew you to The Mommy Club?

I wanted to show a different side of myself. People often see me as just a model, but there’s so much more to my story—especially as a mother. The Mommy Club is about real women navigating life, and I loved the idea of being part of something authentic and relatable. Having done reality TV before, I knew it would be an exciting challenge.

How was your experience filming the show?

It was a rollercoaster! Fun, emotional, and sometimes overwhelming. Balancing motherhood, work, and filming wasn’t easy, but it was also incredibly rewarding. I got to reflect on my journey, build genuine connections, and, of course, deal with some drama along the way!

Which moms did you connect with the most?

Noksie and Mrs J. They are real with me—no pretense, no fakeness. I respect women who are open about their struggles, especially when it comes to motherhood. There’s something powerful about being honest about the highs and lows.

What unique energy do you bring to the show?

I bring elegance, strength, and authenticity. I’m level-headed but fun, mature but unafraid to stand my ground. I also have a deep love for my family, which shapes how I approach friendships and challenges.

What do you hope viewers take away from your journey?

That it’s okay to be real—flaws and all. Life isn’t perfect, and we don’t have to pretend it is. I want women to feel empowered to own their journey, stand up for themselves, and show love to their families in a way that feels true to them.

Did filming teach you anything new about yourself?

Absolutely! I realized I’m much stronger than I sometimes give myself credit for. Filming this season showed me that I can be both flexible and firm in what I believe in. It also reminded me that vulnerability isn’t weakness—it’s a part of being human.

How would you describe your approach to motherhood?

Balanced. I believe in structure, discipline, and setting boundaries, but I also want my children to feel deeply loved and supported. I was raised with strong values, and I want to instill the same in them while allowing them to grow into confident, kind individuals.

Why should people watch The Mommy Club Season 3?

Because it’s real and entertaining! The Mommy Club isn’t just about motherhood—it’s about powerful women navigating relationships, personal growth, and, of course, some explosive drama. There are laugh-out-loud moments, emotional breakthroughs, and jaw-dropping confrontations. Plus, you’ll see a side of me you’ve never seen before!

With new faces, fresh conflicts, and even deeper friendships, The Mommy Club Season 3 promises to be the most captivating one yet.

Catch new episodes every Saturday on Showmax from 15 February 2025.
