Fred Everything – Soul Love feat. Stereo MC’s (Clive From Accounts Remixes)

The collaboration between Montreal-based house music maestro Fred Everything and the legendary UK act Stereo MC’s on “Soul Love” (Release Date: 6th December 2024) has captivated listeners as the third and final single from Fred’s album Love, Care, Kindness & Hope. Stereo MC’s, known for their enduring influence in Hip Hop and Trip Hop and famous for their 1992 hit “Connected,” continue to expand their musical horizons with their Connected label, which spotlights Afro House sounds. Their unique sound merges seamlessly with Fred Everything’s deep, soulful approach to house music.

Joining the remix lineup is the enigmatic Clive From Accounts, who has quickly become one of the UK‘s most intriguing figures in Deep House. Since his breakout, Clive’s distinctive style has seen releases on prominent labels like Dirt Crew, Razor-N-Tape, and Outplay, earning him a devoted following among DJs worldwide, including Fred Everything himself. For this remix, Clive transforms the dub-infused original into a pulsating deep house rendition, featuring a driving bassline, intricate arpeggios, and a compelling use of Rob Birch’s vocals. His remix package wouldn’t be complete without a Dub version, which strips the track back, offering an even more immersive listening experience.

Fred Everything also revisits “Soul Love” with several of his own versions, crafted ahead of his live show at Mutek this summer. His “Lazy Vox” and “Lazy Dub” edits deliver a dynamic, dancefloor-ready feel, while the “Afterthought” mix provides a deeper, introspective interpretation. Fans of the album can also enjoy the original cut, a radio edit, and previously unreleased instrumental and beatless versions, giving listeners a broad array of interpretations to explore.

With the success of Love, Care, Kindness & Hope, Fred Everything thanks his listeners for their support and invites them to consider the album for their year-end lists and charts, celebrating a work that has resonated deeply in the hearts of house music fans worldwide.
