South African band Mi Casa has released their latest album, THR3E, a celebration of the group’s 13 years of friendship and creative unity. Comprised of Dr. Duda, Mo-T, and J’Something, Mi Casa has always emphasized that their music thrives on the collective synergy of the three members.

“We are a band and remove one of us, and there is no Mi Casa.”

In a recent Instagram post, the band emphasized,

THR3E, Mi Casa’s sixth studio album, was created over a span of three years, during which the band spent a significant amount of time in Europe. The album reflects their experiences and connections formed during their travels.

“We spent a lot of time in Europe, connecting with our community, industry friends, and mainly ourselves in order to create,”.

they shared

The band has always been intentional in their approach to music, striving to make an impact on people’s lives. From their debut hit These Streets, Mi Casa has maintained a focus on creating music that resonates deeply with listeners. Their latest album is no different. With its Afro-pop foundation, THR3E blends new pop elements to elevate the experience of their live shows.

The album’s production process saw Mi Casa working with various producers and songwriters, notably during two major writing camps. One in Germany, which brought tracks like Rock3t, Who Car3s, and Butter to life, and another in Portugal, which produced Passa Sabi, Seu Fogo, and See the World.

For Mi Casa, THR3E is not just a collection of songs but a personal and joyful achievement.

“It’s such a blessing to not want to skip a track and find so much joy in listening to it by ourselves,”.

they expressed

The band is excited to share this project with their community, anticipating that fans will feel the same connection and emotion they experienced while creating it.

As Mi Casa continues to spread love and good energy through their music, they look forward to bringing people together, performing the new tracks, and sharing the emotions they’ve poured into THR3E.
