5FM CELEBRATES ITS BIRTHDAY WITH TWO SMASHING PARTIESIN CAPE TOWN AND JOHANNESBURG… AND YOUR SHARE OF R100 000 IN CASH!

5FM, South Africa’s favourite youth radio station, is turning 49 on 13 October this year and will be celebrating with two massive parties in Cape Town and Johannesburg.

The station will be setting the vibe on fire and rocking the dance floor at Halo Nightclub in Cape Town – 71 Loop St, Cape Town City Centre – on 11 October and Babylon, The Joburg Bar – 198
Oxford Rd, Illovo – on 25 October.

Partygoers will have a massive jol with all their favourite 5FM DJs, as well as some epic resident
DJs, and rub shoulders with some of the coolest people as they party the night away.

Roger Goode, Steam03, Stephy Longueira, DJ Tshepi, Stephanie Be and Funky G will be on the
decks at Halo and Lotion, Zanele Potelwa, Leah Jazz, Lula Odiba, Stephanie Be and Juran will be
serving up some sizzling tunes at Babylon.

The theme for the Johannesburg party is “Colourful Connections”, to celebrate the station’s diversity, as well as its support of the LGBTIQ community.

To party it up in proper style, listeners also have the chance of scoring a massively cool VIP
experience – one experience given away per event – with exclusive table for them and four
friends, plus a R5000 bar tab.

Doors for the Cape Town event at Halo will be opening at 18h00, with tickets available online at
R150 each. Doors for the Johannesburg Event at Halo will be opening at 20h00, with tickets sold
