The Soil – Reimagined Tour: A Magical Journey of Healing and Music
The beloved South African a cappella trio, The Soil, is set to take audiences on an extraordinary musical journey with their highly anticipated Reimagined Tour. With performances scheduled across South Africa and international stops, this tour promises to be more than just a concert – it is a space for healing, celebration, and a reconnection with the soulful sounds that have made The Soil a household name.
Starting in Durban on 27th September at The Playhouse, the tour will showcase not only their signature harmonies but also a powerful message of unity and reflection. Their latest album, Reimagined, has been the inspiration behind the tour, as they invite audiences to experience new interpretations of their classic sound.

The tour features an exciting lineup of guest artists, with the Durban leg boasting performances by the RAP GENERAL himself, Zakwe, and the mesmerizing Thee Legacy. These powerhouse acts will join The Soil on stage, adding new dimensions to an already unforgettable evening. Following the Durban show, The Soil will head to Wits University on 28th September and continue to Makhanda’s Guy Butler Theatre on 4th October, before making international stops in Switzerland and Morocco.

For fans in Makhanda, the show on 4th October promises a magical night, with the super talented Nathi returning as the special guest artist. The combination of his heartfelt melodies and The Soil‘s captivating harmonies will undoubtedly create an atmosphere of pure musical bliss.

Founded in 2004, The Soil—comprised of lead composer Ntsika Fana Ngxanga, dynamic beatboxer Luphindo Ngxanga, and gifted singer-songwriter Theo ‘Songstress’ Matshoba—has evolved into a global phenomenon. Signed to Native Rhythms and under exclusive license by UMG (SA), the group has captivated audiences worldwide with their unique blend of voices, which they describe as ‘Kasi Soul.’
Upcoming performances at the Mbhashe Music Fest on 5th October and the Bloemfontein Pacofs on 26th October ensure that fans across the country will get a chance to experience the magic. With more dates to be announced soon, including the much-anticipated international performances at the Vox Pop Festival in Switzerland and the Visa For Music Festival in Morocco, The Soil continues to spread their powerful message of love and healing through music.
