Janet Jackson Unable to Perform at DStv Delicious Festival Powered by LottoStar
It is with heartfelt understanding that the DStv Delicious Festival powered by LottoStar announces that Janet Jackson will no longer be able to headline the event, following the recent passing of her brother, Tito Jackson. The festival organizers and Janet’s team have expressed their deepest condolences and support to her and the Jackson family during this difficult time of mourning.
“Janet’s brother Tito passed away this past Sunday. For obvious reasons, Janet has to cancel her performance at the DStv Delicious Festival to be with family. Management is making plans to come back next year. Janet also wishes to thank all of her South African fans for the warm and heartfelt support she’s receiving at this difficult time.”

While many fans were excited to see Janet Jackson perform, the festival’s management team is actively working to secure a suitable international replacement headliner to ensure the festival remains an unforgettable experience.
Ticket holders who wish to exchange their tickets for Saturday, 21 September 2024, to attend the festival on Sunday, 22 September 2024, can do so via Ticketmaster between 20:00 on Tuesday, 17 September 2024, and 23:59 on Wednesday, 18 September 2024. This is subject to availability, and the link to activate this option is available here. However, Saturday tickets will still be valid for those who choose to retain them.
