Dazzie Funk’s journey in the world of music began back in 2002 during his high school days. His passion for House and Hip-hop Vinyl led him to pursue a career as a DJ. In 2005, he landed his first major gig at Fashion TV in Brooklyn, marking the start of a successful career. His unique and energetic DJing style, particularly his Afro Tech Sound, Commercial, and Electronic House Music, has earned him a well-deserved reputation in the industry.
Throughout his career, Dazzie Funk has had the privilege of sharing the stage with renowned artists such as House Guru Culoe de Song and DJ Claude. In 2014, his talent was recognized when he clinched the number 1 spot in the “FACE OF GEMINI” competition, solidifying his place as a rising star in the music scene. His international appeal has taken him to various parts of the world, including Nairobi, Maputo, and Zimbabwe, where he has wowed audiences at festivals.
In 2023, Dazzie Funk signed with Jayzee Records and released his hit single “Yana Pula” featuring Hessy. This collaboration paved the way for a successful debut EP, showcasing his talent alongside producers like Mo-T, Siar Maspial, Tribe of Afro, Caveman, and Tonic Volts.
