Black Motion, Culoe de Song, Thakzin bring Corona Sunsets to Sandton, Khayelitsha, and Durban this December
The line-up of artists for the next three stops in the Corona Sunsets Summer Tour have been announced with Black Motion, Culoe de Song, Darque and Da Capo headlining events to take place in Sandton, Khayelitsha, and Durban.
Stopping at some of the country’s most breathtaking locations, with a total of 15 events, the Corona Sunsets Summer Tour brings all the sunset relaxation along with great music from a curated list of SA’s best talent. Having launched in Johannesburg in October, the tour is half-way through its itinerary, which ends in Knysna in late December.
Topping the stellar Corona Sunsets Summer Tour line-up at Maracanà, Sandton, on December 9th are musical duo Black Motion, who recently released a new single, “Jabula”. Joining them are globe-trotting, deep house DJ Karyendasoul, and hitmaker Culoe De Song, amongst others.
Limpopo-born deep house DJ Darque – who recently released his new album, “More Life” – headlines the Corona Sunsets Summer Tour experience at Rands in Khayelitsha, Cape Town, also on December 9th, along with electronic DJ FKA Mash (who recently released two singles) and popular musician and actor Naak Musiq, amongst others.
DJ Thakzin, whose 2022 signature track, “The Magnificent Dance”, skillfully fused his favourite genres – Afro-house, Deep-house and Amapiano – tops the line up at the Corona Sunsets Summer Tour experience at On Point Waterfront, Durban on 17 December. Also on the bill are prolific Afro-house DJs Merlon and Enoo Napa, amongst others.
Lifestyle activities at Corona Summer Sunsets Tour events include drumming workshops, body art and face paint, charm bracelet making and special sunset hour activations. Important sustainability elements, meanwhile, include solar powered phone chargers and recycle stations with dedicated staff to educate & assist eventgoers with properly disposing of waste.
