RED BULL DANCE YOUR STYLE 2021 MZANSI WINNER SHANNY J BECOMES FIRST SOUTH AFRICAN FEMALE TO BE FEATURED ON A RED BULL LIMITED EDITION CAN
The winner of Red Bull Dance Your Style 2021 in South Africa, Shannon ‘Shanny J’ Kivido is the first South African female to appear on the Red Bull limited edition can.
Shanny J competed as a wildcard and won the ultimate title at the Red Bull Dance Your Style national final which took place at the Castle of Good Hope.
This versatile Red Bull Dance Your Style 2021 wildcard took the dance world by storm with her ability of fusing waacking and voguing with other dance styles such as sbujwa, amapiano, hip hop and freestyling just to name a few.
Mzansi has seen great names such as Red Bull athletes, South African Springboks captain Siya Kolisi and MotoGP racer Brad Binder appear on the limited edition can of the most loved energy drink. Last year Red Bull Dance Your Style had its first mention on the can when 2019 Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final wildcard Teboho ‘Tebza’ Diphehlo also appeared alongside international freestyle icon Angyil McNeal.
Shanny J now joins the list of these iconic artists who have made it to this limited-edition feature.
“I would have never thought that this was God’s plan for me! To be on the can of a brand this big is both unbelievable and extremely exciting and I cannot wait to see where my dance journey leads me next! I’m extremely grateful to Red Bull and for everyone that has supported me” .
