Women’s
For women’s, this season is all about creating smart and pulled together casual pieces that embody both the comfort of home and the style of a vibrant life outside. While tops are getting smaller and a little barer, bottoms are getting looser and more airy, with an away-from-the-body fit that borrows from the baggier styles of the ’90s. After an extended time indoors, Autumn 2022 is all about taking that homey comfort into the outside world. It’s a high-low approach that blends prettiness with freedom of self-expression.
And speaking of ’90s inspiration, the biggest news for Levi’s® women’s, launching later in the season, is the introduction of the new Levi’s® 501® ’90s. With a more relaxed fit through the seat and leg, the 501® 90s offers a silhouette that’s looser than the traditional 501®, but that doesn’t stray into baggy. It sits just below the waist and offers a stylish yet roomier fit that can either be sized up or sized down depending on how you want to wear it. Men’s
For men’s, Autumn/winter 2022 is all about exploring the intersection of menswear and utility wear with a focus on looser fits and relaxed silhouettes. Inspiration came from the heritage style of the 1980s and ’90s with bigger slouchier tops matching with a 501® jean or an even looser and baggier bottom. It’s a move beyond the influence of streetwear and into a look and fit that draws from the past to create something new and stylish for the present.
Versatility is also a big key to the men’s collection, with a mix of everything from jeans to the popular Levi’s® XX Chino, to an expanded range of Levi’s® Red Tab Sweats. Along with the classic Levi‘s® 501® and the 501® ’93, this season sees the relaunch of the 501® Taper for men, which features all of the elements of the 501®, only with a tapered leg. Denim finishes, too, are drawing from the ’80s and ’90s, with a range of washes in brighter shades of indigo that look more like your favorite old worn-in pair of jeans.
