Globally, Lee, the legends of denim, has teamed up with one of the world’s largest vertically-integrated denim manufacturers, Artistic Milliners, to create Cradle to Cradle (C2C) certified jeans. The new range aims at having every component be 100% recyclable since it will be crafted from 100 percent organic cotton.

The classic five-pocket jeans will be made in a facility generating solar power per year and use fabrics dyed with a process that uses 58% less water than traditional denim dyeing processes. In addition, all the buttons on the jeans are raw, virgin metal, meaning they have not been finished with any treatments, so saving energy consumption and eliminating the extra processing.

As a continuation of the #StandTall campaign, Lee believes in standing tall for what they believe in – sustainability is one of many things they stand for. This has been made clearly visible by the brand launching a new water-saving dye technique called ‘Crystal Clear’ as part of its efforts to use lower impact dye processes across its ranges.

As a brand, they are integrating their sustainability practices into products at all price points and making lower waste products accessible for all Lee consumers across the globe.

Lee continues to believe in what they say and share real experiences with the consumers.  They make strong promises with Stand Tall but remain supremely confident that they can back it up with their unique style which always delivers.
