So, for those aspiring clothing designers who may have missed the announcement, there are still a few spaces available for the Mentorship programme run by the eThekwini Municipality, who are extending an invitation to young & aspiring fashion designers and fashion houses, who reside or run their businesses within the greater eThekwini area to participate in the 2020 Durban Fashion Fair 6 month mentorship programme. All those interested need to apply now.

The interested fashion houses / designers are requested to submit the following, where applicable:

  • Grade 12 certificate / relevant degree;
  • a certified RSA ID document;
  • a letter of motivation;
  • a professional portfolio of evidence with story & mood board and
  • proof of residence (from a councillor/utility bill/proof of address).
