We all love Jonny Miller, his contributions to the world of House & Broken Beat are just brilliant. Jonny is a teacher, producer and general all round great guy and this solo release shows of his immense music production skills which we feel are often overlooked. He has been featured on Urban Lifestyle with Kid Fonque but this time he is back with a new project under the Atjazz Record Company.

Ad Astra Per Aspera or “To the stars through hardship” contains a lot of musical meat where Jonny also teams up with the UKs own Jazz Doctor JD73 on two of the four cuts.

The EP kicks of with NEW TERRA which is a real wander into the unknown, a very powerful piece of music with a lot of drive in the high end and builds a real visual story. We then lead into the beautiful & pokey textures of THE QUESTION, this particular piece really gets you at the first sound, don’t sleep on this one as when it comes to Deep House it very rarely get better than this!.

APOLLO is where things get really interesting. Here is the moment where JD73 gets involved as he delivers the keys over Jonny’s quirky beats, this combination is epic and there are also two very different version for an option on taste.

It is a very warm & welcomed addition to the Atjazz Record Company catalogue.
